The Path taken with God


I'm at a Crossroads in life and not sure which way to turn. I was thinking about this poem today. I don't know what the outcome is going to be. I do though know I don't want to travel on the road the world travels on that leads to no good. I want to follow on the path less taken,the path that God has laid out and planned for me. I just want to serve and follow his path where he will lead. I don't know what the plan is as I walk the path less taken but I know I walk it with the Lord and he directs my steps each step of the way! Please pray for me.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

  4. In addition to being less traveled, be sure and know that the road is one which God has given you a peace about. Years ago I made a serious mistake, one decision which I felt at the time was right... but God has brought me full circle so that I can now look back and know that God was not in that decision... but rather I was seeing things through the worlds eyes. Through the Word, Prayer, and God's speaking to your heart... you will know.
