Choose the way of God

Don't choose the way of the Ungodly, always choose the way of the Lord and his path for you!

"Psalm 1"
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Just some Random Chatter

Hope everybody is having a great week!!! We are settling in our new home and town. Someday's I miss home so much I can't stand it and other days I am just fine and happy at where we are. It will take some time to get use to everything. In the last 5 weeks we have moved from our home of 26 years and the only home I ever knew, moved to a new city and away from the only city I knew and my parents knew and a generation before that grew up there too. We had strong ties in the community,it is and will always be home to me in my heart. We then put our camper up for sale. We posted it this past Friday night on craigslist, went to eat pizza at pizza hut and came home and a man and his wife came by to look at it and bought and picked it up the next morning. So we also said goodbye to 17 years of memories with the camper. I have told a lot of stuff goodbye in the last couple weeks, but the thing is it's pretty much been a peaceful feeling because I know God's will is for all this too be taking place right now and he is giving me peace to get through it all. Plus the other news sadly I turn 27 this coming Thursday on the 28th..ughhh..when did I get almost to the 30 mark in a couple years? Now that scares the crap out of me turning 30 in a few short years..lol..oh well got to get older sometime..lol..Well hope you all have a great week and God's blessings wherever you are.

We are moved in

Hey all,
Well I am sitting in our new home. We moved in yesterday finally=) I like it so far. I try not to think about back home to much or I will get to missing it but really i have not been thinking about it much and doing pretty good. I had my first visit with my new medical place this past week. It didn't go to bad. I think it's going to be like the one I went to back home. Just knowing I am in with a doctor so I can get my medicine is good. I have not seen the doctor yet,it was just an intake and I go back on August 12. I started unpacking some of my stuff last night. We still have to get some stuff out of storage but we had a month left on the storage rent so we are just taking our time. I had got a free bed off of Craigslist free section but our truck stopped running right so we had really no way to get it unless we parked our moving truck on the road so I gave it up to somebody else which is fine because I will find one somewhere. I think I might get one off target online I seen. Our camper is still at the campground we had 2 nights left on our stay and we are not sure how we are going to get it home. The truck won't make it with a camper hooked to it. So hopefully we are going to find someone to get it pulled here for us. Well hope all is having a good weekend and God bless=)

Book Review:God's Promises for the American Patriot

I got the chance to review this book recently. It is such a nice little hardcover book. It would make a great gift to give anybody and plus give to people who have served our country as well. It is filled with all kinds of stories from our forefathers of America who was hero's to our Country past and present and who have helped shape our nation to what it is today. It tells a short little history on their story and also has some Bible verses to go with each story. It shows how at one point our country was founded by and made by Christian people. This is great little book for some history in a Christian related light.
I received this book free from Booksneeze.com for my honest review

Would you Follow the Lord?

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

It is so easy to say I will follow the Lord. When it comes down to it though when it's all said and done will you truly follow the Lord wherever he might lead you? I recently had to live out this question with our move to a new place. We had been praying for a long time for a stable job for my dad. Finally the Lord showed us and lead us here after a couple years of prayers and wondering what to do. I have truly seen God move in the last couple of weeks. So many things have fell into place. So it leaves me with question will you follow him no matter what? He took and moved my family 500 miles away from home the only home I knew and grew up in and my whole life was changed when we packed the house and moved. We are in a new place where we don't know a single person. I honestly think the lord is giving me perfect peace about where we are. Do I want to be here? No. Did I ever expect this is where we would end up? Not in a million years..lol;) It is so easy to sit on a pew at church during service and say yes I will follow him, but when it came down to it and you truly had to decide to follow where he leads would Christians stand up and go or would they back down. It's a hard answer but yet its also an easy answer in my mind. Because I have lived this very question I can totally relate to it now. The hard part is trusting the unknown ahead, but know that God is leading and he has a plan. It's scary and sometimes you feel alone but I also think it's an easy answer at times because in those moments when you feel God wrapping his arms around you and giving you total peace about leaving your home and being hundreds of miles from family and a community you know and grew up in. Those truly are some of the most wonderful moments because you can truly see that when your totally alone and following his will you have his perfect hand and his perfect peace guiding you and that makes it worth it all in the end.

Philippians 4:11"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content."
