Fall has fallen...

Oh my goodness
I have not posted much lately. So sorry for lack of posts. My mind has been in different places and well no excuses..lol. It is beautiful in TN in Fall. The colors are beautiful and rich in color. I am loving the colors. It has grew cold but anything beats the heat of summer:), here  are a few pictures of this and that.

Everyday these birds perch on this like it is their condo. I can hear electricity on it. I dont know how they stay on it.
We seen an Amish woman on the side of the road the other day and bought these mums from her. I love them.

View from back deck. Simply beautiful colors
Beautiful views all around the area
 Ready for halloween

We were   not use  to this many trick or treaters back home. They were coming down the road on hayrides. We had a ton. Its fun to see little kids just having innocent fun dressing up and getting candy:) Well that is all I got for now. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Fall season:)

Book Review:Abundant Life Daybook

I recently had the chance to review this book. It is 365 days of blessings to remind you of the abundance of Gods love for you and how you can live fully in his blessings for your life each day. It has a devotion for each day with a Bible Verse to go along with it. I found it to be your typical devotion book and nothing really stood out from others with this one. I think it would be a wonderful book if you just need that little reminder everyday of his blessings on us that we forget sometimes. It is a nice litte book size to carry around and have devotions no matter where you are. Over all it was a nice little devotion book to remember the blessings we overlook.

Book Review:The Voice Bible

I recently reviewed a new version of the bible out. It was a New Testament only. I am a go to KJV final answer only person. I have never seen a bible on the market like this one before. It takes you into it like a story. It takes each verse and tells it in story format. It even tells who is saying the verse. Its a very different version of the bible and I have never seen one like it. It kind of makes me feel as though I am reading it as a play. I would not use it as my final answer on matters and verses, but I do like how it tells the verse like a story and helps you understand what it is   talking about, and a great book for reference, but like I said I still go to the KJV Bible for final answer and verses but I am not opposed to reading other versions to understand what it is saying. Overall it is a nice one if you just want to understand exactly what they are saying.

I am alive:)

Hey all:)
Just wanted to thank everyone soooo much for the prayers:) I really appreciate them and I am very thankful for them. I have been doing a little better, but still don't want to say great, because it could fall on me full force again, but just keep praying!! This past weekend we had the chance to go to Land Between the Lakes here near where we live. I liked it. We stopped in the "Old Homeplace" about 1850's life. We did not get a chance to go through the outside part of it but will go back to see it. They were putting on a wedding of what one would have been like back then and we missed it:( Hope all is well and God bless you! Below are some pictures from this weekend!!

Book Review:50 Things every young lady should know By:Kay West

I really thought this book was a good idea and nice read for the younger generation and for young ladies. It has different subjects on different things in life that ladies should know and learn in life. It would make a great gift for your daughters or granddaughter's. Young people today are coming up in a generation that don't know how to handle certain situations in a right manner and polite way. The topics range from just the basic way of saying "Thank you" or "Accepting gifts" that you don't like or even in public places like saying excuse me or respecting other people. It also cute little sayings at the end of each topic. I really enjoyed this little book and thank young ladies would benefit from it in today's world. It's shows them the way they should act in situations.

Book Review:The Harvest of Grace by Cindy Woodsmall

I recently got the chance to review this book! I love Amish fiction and I love Cindy Woodsmall. She is one of my favorite Amish writers. I loved this series and this third book in Ada's house of Refuge series was wonderful. It brought in one new Character Slyvia. She had a betrayel that really hurt her and she left her family farm to move to work at another farm. It all tied in with the other characters from the other two books. It was a great read,it finished out all the storylines that left you hanging in the other two books. It could be read alone or to get the full effect you might want to start with the first two in the series. It is all about forgivness and coming to know that no matter what you have done or what you have been through God loves you and sees you as his child no matter what and he forgives you and you need to forgive yourself as well. I loved this last book and loved the whole series. Great read:)
