I recently had the chance to review and read this book. Travis and his brothers have lived on her land since their father's death. They never leave and have a gate keeping other's out. Travis vowed to protect the land and never let anyone take it from them,they trust no one. As a young child Meredith wondered onto archer land and got caught in a trap and Travis freed her from it and took her home. From there on out she always had him on her mind. Now years later Meredith is an adult and living with her Uncle and Aunt. They want her to marry a man she does not love in hopes to save their own money problems. She overhears him planning out a plot to burn the Archer land so they will be forced to sell. She leaves a note for her cousin who is her best friend and she goes off alone to warn the brothers. During an accident she is forced to stay with the archer men recovering. He uncle makes her marry one of them for fear of a scandal. I don't want to ruin anymore surprises in the book so I will stop there. I loved this book and read it very quickly because I could not put it down. Their were little twist and turns around every corner. The love story was so sweet and deep I felt I was right there in the book. One of the best reads I have read in a long time. A book of letting God be in complete control of your life and putting all trust in him with whatever might come your way.
