It saddens my heart to see boys and girls running around with every available person to date. They break up with one person and on to the next. I just can't believe all the stuff going on today in the world. Their are young people becoming parents at ages under 16. What happened to purity and waiting til marriage. Running from one relationship to the other isn't getting you nowhere. Your giving away you heart and self one piece at a time. I'm not trying to preach or anything. It's like people have no respect anymore for a solid based Godly relationship. People date one guy and cry and then move on and date another and cry and the cycle continues. Why is it that some people just have to be in a relationship to be happy? Where are the good godly couples at anymore? Where are the godly parents at anymore to tell their children to stop and see what they are doing in their young lives? The world is getting worse each day. I can't even imagine what the world will be like in the future. What has happened to our world? Why are people just giving themselves away so easy and acting with no respect towards anything? I believe we need to save ourselves for Marriage. I don't believe in sex before then. Young people or any age stop giving yourself away. Stop and wait for the one God has sent for you. Don't just keep falling for every person that comes along.
SADLY OUR WORLD IS FALLING APART. BUT WHAT MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW IS THAT IT IS FOR WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE...JUST LIKE TIMES BEFORE ARE WORLD AND THE PEOPLE IN IT HAVE LOST THEIR MINDS OUR OF CONTROL. BUT THIS WILL BE THE FINAL DAYS AND WE WILL NOT REPEAT THIS BEHAVIOR ANYMORE... A LOT OF US KNOW THE BIBLE BUT REALLY DON'T.. IT TAKE MUCH STUDYING.. NOT TO PREACH EITHER..BUT OUR WORLD IS SAD VERY SAD... THOUGH I HAVE TRIED TO INSTIL IN MY CHILDREN AS MUCH GODLY THINGS THEY ALL HAVEN'T AGREED OR FOLLOWED THEM...GUILTY MYSELF I FALL SHORT TO...BUT I CONTINUALLY TRY TO IMPROVE AND HELP GUIDE THEM WITH BIBLE PRINCIPALS. . THE DEVIL IS SURELY BUSY AT HAND DIRECTING THIS WORLD OFF INTO ANOTHER DIRECTION AND MOST HAVEN'T A CLUE...

wow! those are wise words... pray for this new generation...wish i was raised as a christian i new the lord 14 years already...and thank him everyday for saving me...we dont always have our children behavior in our hands God does...but jesus teach us to pray..love them...and show them whats wrong in the eyes of God..were living in the end times...so many inmorality hate greed in this world let us pray jesus loves people..and want them to receive salvation...so they dont go lost..im fasting for many things these days...blessings jennifer...

ReplyDeleteJennifer, I worry that you have illusions about the morality of previous generations. If you look closely at genealogy records, you'll find many first children of young marriage began out of wedlock, and there were still plenty of single mothers, which suggests that not all men were moral, upstanding Christians. I understand that contemporary media might suggest dramatic changes to today's culture, but a deep look into the past shows that not much has changed.

ReplyDeleteI have researched my family tree and their were children born out of wedlock in mine too. From the beginning of the ages there have been people that have had no morals. What I was trying to point out in this post was it's like anything goes and everything is alright. In history some of things that go on today would not have been accepted and yes our culture and world has changed. I think it's gotten worse. I think the world needs more godly people to set an example so that more in the future will not follow ways of sin in the past.
This is a great post. Times have changed even since I was a kid (I'm 37 now). Even though there was immorality then too. People seem more lewd these days.
