It saddens my heart to see boys and girls running around with every available person to date. They break up with one person and on to the next. I just can't believe all the stuff going on today in the world. Their are young people becoming parents at ages under 16. What happened to purity and waiting til marriage. Running from one relationship to the other isn't getting you nowhere. Your giving away you heart and self one piece at a time. I'm not trying to preach or anything. It's like people have no respect anymore for a solid based Godly relationship. People date one guy and cry and then move on and date another and cry and the cycle continues. Why is it that some people just have to be in a relationship to be happy? Where are the good godly couples at anymore? Where are the godly parents at anymore to tell their children to stop and see what they are doing in their young lives? The world is getting worse each day. I can't even imagine what the world will be like in the future. What has happened to our world? Why are people just giving themselves away so easy and acting with no respect towards anything? I believe we need to save ourselves for Marriage. I don't believe in sex before then. Young people or any age stop giving yourself away. Stop and wait for the one God has sent for you. Don't just keep falling for every person that comes along.

Mother's Day Luau
Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!! My mom had been gone all week to NC to visit her dad and my dad went down later in the week to fix things for our new renters in our home. So I had him bring her home by lunch on Sunday and I surprised her with a Luau Party. I had lots of fun planning it and decorating. It turned out great. A Balloon with candy,a palm tree and Sign with Happy Mother's day greeted her on the front porch. I presented her with a flower lei around her neck.
I found most all of my stuff at the Dollar Tree.
I had Umbrella Straws in the cups
I loved this little paper lantern that I found
Food
I made my first beach cake. I found blue icing at the store. I used Teddy Grahams as the people, gummy lifesavers as the floats, gummy fish in the water,Kit Kats for the two chairs and found two palm trees at Hobby Lobby and then made the sand out of brown sugar.
I made punch. Just Ginger ale,Pineapple Juice and your choice of Sherbet
Flip flop cookies I found on Pinterest. You take Nutter Butters and then used icing to make the flip flop. I picked some gel icing and it made it look like the jelly flip flops..lol
Mama's gift basket
These were hooked to the balloons. I found the bucket at Target and the Candy at Lifeway bookstore, each piece had a different Bible Verse on it.
Her special gift was a Charm necklace I had made with a picture of her Mother that passed away this past December. It was her first Mother's Day without her.

I bought this necklace for Mother's day and this is what it said on the box. Who buys Necklaces to ingest and wondering why this warning is even on a box..lol. Hopefully surely somebody has not tried that out there for them to put a warning on the box.

When I can't...he can
Hi all, well to whoever reads my ramblings:) I am just in a blah kind of mood. You know the moods where you just really don't know what you feel and if somebody ask you how are you feeling, well you just don't really know what to say because you don't know yourself. Ok if your still with me and not reading the past lines again confused at what I just said=) yay for you. I try so hard to be content in life and for the most part I am totally content. I don't sit around and pine on getting married or having a family. I really am at peace where I am with all that stuff in life. I content at where we are living for the most part because I know this where we are supposed to be at the moment. So really I don't really know how I am feeling. I think it's mainly just getting tired of waking up everyday with the OCD and feelings of depression some days. I never know when a major panic OCD could happen and I think I live in fear because of it. Well I don't think it ,I know I live in fear over it. I fear where I am going in life and how the illness sets me back in so many ways. I never know if it will be a good day or bad day, sometimes I feel such despair that I feel the Lord has left me. Even though I know that is not true at all, like my mom tells me sometimes when we are down and low and feel that way and can't even bring the words out in prayer, that is when he is carrying us through. He knows our pain and like the poem says, when you seen only one set of footprints,it was then that I was carrying you. I have not been able to even find the words to pray about the feelings I have, but yes indeed the Lord knows and that is when he is carrying me. So even though I don't really know a word for how I feel,I do know the Lord knows and yes he is carrying me even when I don't feel it and when I can't...he can!!

Sauder Farm Country Market in Elkton,KY
Since we found this little shop on the back roads,I just love going there. It's such a peaceful place and it's ran by either Amish or Mennonite, I've never asked. Their store is on the property with the home and farm. They are such nice people. The two times we have been there they have greeted us with friendly smiles and greetings. They have wonderful costumer skills and are willing to help you with anything. Their first wood looking cabin is the store and they have all kinds of housewares. They also sell pretty bookmarks that the owners sister paints and makes them into bookmarks with Bible verses, they are really pretty and she has a wonderful talent. Then behind there they have a warehouse type building with all the produce and lots of Jams and such. Mom bought some salsa and she said it was the best salsa she has ate. Every Saturday they cook chicken that have been grown on their farm. We bought a piece the last time we were there and it was so good!! I will be going back some more for that!! They also sell lots of beautiful flowers!! Below are a few pictures. If your in the area you stop by and visit.
The Address
Sauder Farm Country Market
959 Britmart Road
Elkton, KY 42220
I love the store, this is one side of it!

Book Review:Named by God by Kasey Van Norman
I recently had the chance to review this book. The lady that wrote the book has been through so much in her life including rape and going through some time apart from God. She helps people in this book show how to over come what you have been through and show you how God has a plan for your life. You do not have to live in the past or in fear of your past. Also to move past hurts that have broke you in the past. We all have things we have been through in life and with God we have the power to overcome them because we are named by God and each us has an identity with him. If your having a hard time overcoming hurt and pain or your past, I think you would get a lot out of this book as it brings verses and stories from the bible along with the stories from the authors life. She was encouragement of all she has overcame in life. God has named us all and we can always be found in him.
I received this book free from Tyndale for my honest review

I can dream a Little Dream..can' I?
I've always been very careful with guys and kept my guard up,because you see I know and have realized it more lately that I want the very best, the one God has in store for me. I am not going settle for anyone. I want to settle for God's one for me. Ok back to my story at what this blog post is about. Pinterest, I love that website and now thanks to it I have a board of wedding ideas. I know it's sad because I'm not dating anyone and no hints of any in the near future..lol..but I actually have a theme I would want for a wedding now. I never had one before and finally figured out what I wanted or should I say would want from Pinterest. I want a Vintage themed wedding, like "The Notebook" movie era. It's hard to explain because I see it in my head but can't actually describe it..lol. I want a old time feel. Here are a few pictures below I found on Pinterest of ideas.
This I like for Bridesmaid dresses. I love how it just flows down.
Something about this dress I have fallen in love with for a Vintage style. I use to think I wanted the big pretty flowing wedding gown, but something about this I just love. The sleeves are just beautiful.
In this one I am looking at the man's clothing. It reminds me of Noah in the Notebook movie. I think it's the cutest style for the time period wedding I like. Plus I love the umbrella and the grooms hat,it is something different.
I love this kind of color on pictures,it would be the old time look I want and I love the old car too!
I like the old truck in this one..so cute
I love the beads on the flower stems.
Ok hope you enjoyed my little day dreaming..lol. Of course if I ever do get married it could change in a heartbeat..but it's fun to dream:)

Day Drive with Mom!
The other day me and mom took a ride through KY countryside near where we live,we are right at the border almost. We traveled around through the area and it has so many Amish and Mennonite families. I love learning and hearing about their life and culture. It is so peaceful in that area. We happened to locate a store off the back road. They had a sign at the road and that is how we found it. It was the cutest store. The two men that greeted us were so friendly and very helpful! They had all the housewares part in the store. Mom bought some beautiful bookmarks that were painted by his sister who lives in NY and she makes them into bookmarks with bible verses. Mom bought the cutest bowl too. He then lead us too the back in another building where there was all the produce. Mom bought Strawberry's,Cucumbers,Peppers,Tomatoes,Bananas,Lettuce, and a Jar of Jam. They also sold beautiful flowers. I'm not sure if they were Amish or Mennonite. I will go back again for their welcome smiles and friendly attitudes. If your in the area it is called "Sauder Farm County Market" right near the Jefferson Davis Monument. Their address is 959 Britmart Rd. Elkton, KY 42220. Go check them out! I hear they also near there have the "Fairview Produce Auction" where lots bring in their produce to auction off. Then me and mom also stopped by "The Jefferson Davis Monument" which is a very tall structure. We ended the day out at Dairy Queen. It was nice time with mom and I enjoyed my time with her.
Mom took pictures of the Jefferson Davis Monument below

Book Review:Simply Grilling by Jennifer Chandler
I had the chance to read and review this book! I always love looking through new cookbooks and finding new dishes that sound good! With summer coming up, grilling will be on the menu alot. If you want a grilling cookbook with nothing but good grilling recipes, then this is the book for you. It's filled with recipes and not only just meat, but other foods as well, such as desserts and stuff. Each recipe comes with a picture on one side and the recipe on the other side. Some are simple, while others takes more ingredients. I love a cookbook with pictures,it makes it more interesting then just a plain old one with just the recipe. She also includes tips on grilling, such as,how long to marinate and other useful tips to make the best of your grilling. I enjoyed this cookbook. I still like to pull out cookbooks and cook from them.
I received this book free from booksneeze for my honest review.
