Thank you for the Prayers

Thank you so much for the comments and prayers for my sister!! We went to Vanderbilt in Nashville this morning. Everything went wonderful and they were able to remove the dermoid cyst out. They didn't have to cut or take out any of her ovaries. Praise the Lord!! She is now resting and off work for two weeks. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the prayers!! God bless you!!

Thankful...

On Facebook I see many people doing the Thankful post for each day. I have not joined in it. I rarely re-post or go in with what is going around facebook at the moment. I am though oh so thankful in life. I may have days where I am down and feel like everything is falling apart with the OCD I live with,but I still am very thankful for all the things in my life. I could name so much stuff. I am very blessed not by riches but just simple things and all my needs supplied!

I am thankful for the Lord. Even though I fail him everyday. He never drifts away, it's me that does,but he always stays through everything the good and the bad. I don't know how people live their life without our Lord in theirs. I am thankful for the Lord!

My Family. What can I say? I truly have the best Parents and Sister. I am so close to my family and could never live with out them. They are the reason I wake up each day and keep going. I love my family. Family will always be there when everyone else walks out. I am thankful for my family!

My Dogs. I don't have children of my own,but these dogs of mine are my children. Daisy and Benji are my babies and I can't imagine not having them. They love me regardless of anything. I am thankful for those loving furry dogs:)

I don't need name brand stuff or eat at the fancy places. I am happy just going to sit in the kitchen eating homemade cooking or going to yard sales and thrift stores. I love just taking pictures and I enjoy the moment. I see and listen to stuff most won't stop for. The beautiful skies,the wind or birds talking,the rain falling down. All the stuff God made for us to enjoy that gets lost in a world of fast pace and technology. I am so thankful for just a simple life with simple things.

Ramblings and Such...

Howdy all,

I know my blog has been boring here lately. I just really have had nothing to blog about. Not much going on. So here are a few random things:) Hope everyone is well!!

Well here are some Random Pics:)

We have had a lot of storms blow through lately..some parts got it really bad so far we have been lucky:)

 Our power went out once during one of the storms and thank goodness for our oil lanterns we have from my grandparents we kept after they passed away. They come in very handy:)

Took this of Benji and looking later on my camera I started laughing,looks like no body with only a head coming out of the patio..lol

 My Daisy enjoy the beautiful weather,she loves outside:)

I mentioned a prayer request I know on Facebook. I think I put it on here but I can't remember. It was a unspoken one and Praise the Lord the prayer it was answered last week. Prayers work and I want to truly thank all who prayed. He worked it all out for me. Thank you Lord:)

Mama Cleaned off a bookshelf in the living room and didn't need it anymore. So I asked if I could have it and she said yes. So I put it in my room, I was running out of room for books. I am getting so many free books from review sites to review for my blog. All Christian based books that I normally would not be able to buy:) It was her shelf from when she was a teenager:) So that makes it special as well.

We Celebrated Dad's Birthday on May 1st. We had Hot Dogs and Cake. Made him a Gift basket that's in the middle of the table:)

We had a nice Mother's Day, I made Lunch and a cake for mom. Plus two great Church services as well:)

Not very good, it was the first one I have wrote on and decorated..lol..it was good inside though:)

 Mom enjoyed her day:)

 Made Chicken,Green Beans and Pasta Salad,plus the cake:)

and

I still like making homemade gifts:)

And....

Of Course I have been Reading a lot different books lately:)

Glad to be here...

Early this Tuesday morning we were all asleep. Luckily though mom was up and she smelled smoke through the house,she quickly got all of us up and the dogs out of the house. Our heat pump was acting up for a while but last night was the final straw of it. We called 911 and a bunch of police and firetrucks showed up. It was scary cause we didn't know if the whole house could catch on fire at any moment. Finally they found the source and it was the wires sparking or something and they got everything unplugged and told us it was safe to go back in. The smell in the house was horrible we had too open doors and windows and spray a ton of fabreeze. Then we had our gas logs on to keep us warm and then they were not working right so we have had people in and out all day working with the heat pump and gas logs fixing them both. I just praise the Lord we were all alright, if we would have all been asleep well the whole house could have went down and I might not be typing this right now. So I just give praise to the Lord for being there with us and keeping us safe. Thank you Lord!
