The Big Move:On the road to TN

So after packing up all our stuff and sending the moving truck on it's way,it was time for us to start to the journey to TN. The preacher that is serving as a temp.at a local church rented our home and was coming in that Saturday afternoon and we pulled out that morning. So many beautiful sites along the way. I really enjoyed the ride. Dad drove the camper in front of us and me and mom drove the car behind him.
Yeap she loves the cool air on her face..lol

Rode like this for half the trip..lol

 Downtown Asheville is so pretty
Dad had been up since Friday morning around 6am and this was Saturday late afternoon,he was on no sleep so we decided to stop in Asheville and stay the night so he could get come sleep.
Pretty little view from camp site
They thought I was leaving them when I went to the car..lol
 Hitting a bad rain storm
Beautiful water flowing from the mountains after the rain

 Finally hitting the TN Line
 Stopping by the welcoming center
You think I need anymore? LOL
 Heading through Nashville

 First sign of Clarksville

The Big Move:Packing up Home

Well we are here in TN and camping in our camper til we find a place. Looks like it might be kind of hard getting a home because a bunch of soldiers at Fort Campbell Base just came home from overseas and plus they are bringing in a ton of new people for some new plant. Real Estate is really going here. So people are grabbing houses quick. We made it up here safely and I am thankful for that. The other day I went out for the first time on my own to try to find some lunch and it looked like a long country road with nothing on it,so I just got on the Hwy and finally found a Mcd's and yeap I ended up in KY.  Then when I came back to my exit turns out that whole country road was a place filled with places and lead out to the huge Army base. I felt dumb, but hey it was fun and a new adventure finding my way around. The town is great, love it here from what i have seen, they have anything you want on the main road and then it leads down to the historic downtown area and huge Cumberland river, beautiful. Ok so my first post is going to be the packing up post. So here we go.

My home place marker I always came home too.
A friend of my sister's came and took our pool down and we gave it too them. The real estate lady suggested we get rid of since we were renting it. That's after with our big hole but no pool..lol and below is without the deck we gave to very nice couple that off the free section on Craigslist that had been wanting one. The man was coming this week I think to fill it on in.

My empty bedroom dad painted it and had new carpet put down over the house. I miss my room at times. Then the empty living room,so sad looking:(
For weeks our house was just a boxed up or laying ready to be boxed..lol

 Our building packed full too
My temp bed in the living room
Moving Truck arrives with dad driving
 Starting the loading

Truck being drove away by our real estate agents son to be drove up by him that Monday to Storage in TN
 The empty building
Wore out from weeks of boxes, taping and packing..lol
Even more stuff in the truck to go with us..lol
A Welcome Wagon we made for the Pastor and his family moving into our home
Still packing at like 3am the morning we left

We finally got finished whew!!!! We had some really great neighbors that just jumped right in without being asked and starting helping load the truck. We are really thankful for the love and help they showed. Glad the packing part is over but still one more round to go when we get to a new home. We have made it this far though. Praise the Lord

Book Review: Billy Graham in Quotes

I recently had the chance to review this book and really liked it. I always love finding quotes and stuff from others that make a point. In this book it takes a wide range of topics and then tells what Billy Graham  quoted on the topic. I was actually riding on my way during the move to a new state and flipped to a section and it was titled home, funny since I was moving to a new place. It's filled with great ones from Billy Graham. This would make a great book for the Billy Graham fan or someone who loves looking at good points and quotes. I was quite pleased with this book and would recommend it to others.

I received this free from booksneeze.com for my honest review

Not Goodbye,just see you later

Well everyone my Internet will be cut off tomorrow and so this is my last blog post til sometime in the Summer. I should have a lot to talk about when I get back. We have a great Christian family renting our house,he is a local Church pastor until they vote a new one in. They are moving in Saturday. I had a first big breakdown last night,my room was finally empty and I went to pick up the last box to carry out and I looked around and just sat in the floor a few minutes and cried. So many memories in this house. We can always come back to it,but who knows what God has in store this could be our last time together as a family here. Ok gotta stop or I will break. I have truly seen God move in this change.I will make a list later and let you see just how it all played out, truly amazing. I have learned many lessons through this. People just stopping by or calling and saying there praying and we will miss you. It really means a lot. Most people close to us know how much we have prayed and we have struggled through the past couple of years. We have neighbors who have stopped by,one baked a cake and another offering anything, another one coming to help us load the truck, another one cooking us a meal tomorrow night. Hearing from people that are so encouraging and praying for us. You really find out who cares about you during times like these. I appreciate and love the people who just come in and love us because they truly care. No asking just popping in or calling, a minute of their time to just say we love ya and praying for you. Well I am going to start crying,so I better go. So we leave Friday and by next week we will be in TN. God bless you all til we meet again:)

Book Review:Growing up Amish by Ira Wagler

If you read my blog you know I love reading about the Amish and Amish Fiction. Their culture has always been an interest to me. I love reading books from people who were Amish and know the inside. Fiction is great but most of it is made up. I like to hear the real side of their culture. So when this book became available to review,I had to take it. Ira Wagler was born and raised in the Amish faith. It is filled with many stories about the life and culture and the real inside of what being Amish is like. At the age of 17 he got tired of rules and regulations by the Amish and packed his bag late in the night and left a note and left his home. It talks about his struggles of being drawn to the English world and back to the Amish life he had always known. He left the faith for good at 26 and now lives not as a Amish man. This is a pretty good book if you like to read true stories about growing up and being raised in the Amish faith. It isn't made up or fiction,it is all real by a man who lived it. Very good book.

I Received this book free from Tyndale Publishers for my honest Review
