Book Review:Praying for your Future Husband by Robin Jones Gunn and Tricia Goyer

I recently had the chance to review this book. It is perfect for single ladies still waiting on the one that God has chosen for you as a husband one day. We as little girls dreamed of prince charming coming up one day,but now that your older you really need to sit down and pray and think about who God has made just for you. They give all kinds of great godly advice and different topics that make you think and ask yourself the questions and how you feel. It also makes you think and feel what the man should be living like in life, his Christian life. They also have questions throughout the book that are questions to ask yourself and think about your own walk. It gives you advice and things of what to pray about for your future husband. I think it's a wonderful idea to pray on these things and his Christian life before you even meet the one you will marry. It gives things such as praying for him on his Salvation, who he hangs with now and his Christian walk. Very inspiring book for those waiting for God on their future husbands.

Happy Easter and Easter Thoughts!!

Matthew 6:28 "He is not here: for he is risen"

I wanted to take the time to wish all my readers and friends a Happy Easter!! Easter baskets and candy and all that is fun,but let us not forget the real true meaning of Easter and that is when the Lord died on the cross and shed his own blood so that we may all be forgiven. He didn't stay in that tomb he rose and is waiting for you to live for him. If you don't know him as your savior may I read you a few verses
Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved"
It also says anybody even the most wicked can be saved if you only believe

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"

No one is sinless and no one is righteous you can't just be a good person ye must be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven

Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one"

So if your just ask the Lord to come into your heart and be forgiven you are saved

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"

Have you made your decision yet where you will spend the eternity? Trust in the Lord and make him yours this Easter.

May God bless you all with a Happy Easter Sunday and may we always remember and keep in our heart how he died and rose for us that glorious day:) God bless!

Book Review:Max on Life by Max Lucado

I recently had the chance to review Max Lucado's book Max on Life. In this book he fills the whole book with questions he has been ask over the years through talking, email, letters. He answers them in a short simple way you can understand. There are a variety of different question about different religious questions we often ask. I like how he gives it in a short simple way,it's not confusing. I love hearing answers from different people on what they believe to be the answer to a question. There are so many different versions and it's always nice to read what another person thinks. You can learn from that. Very neat little book that will answer some of your questions on many different topics.
